Machine Technician

Our client, a leader in precision manufacturing, is seeking a Machine Technician to join their dedicated team. As a Machine Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing support department, supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Technician

Location: Endicott, NY

Pay Range: $22.00-$30.00 DOE

Shift: 3rd shift

What's the Job?

• Operate, set up, and maintain CNC machines, Swiss lathes, DMG milling centers, stamping presses, and automated assembly systems.
• Perform tooling changes, offsets, and program adjustments to ensure precision and tight tolerances.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and document all service activities accurately.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve processes and reduce scrap.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC, Swiss lathe, and/or DMG machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
