Quick Facts Location: 560 West Mitchell Street, Petoskey, MI 49770, United States Start Date: 03/01/2026 End Date: 02/27/2026 (various open dates) Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM; 24-hour weekend call (no weekday night call) Hours/Week: Full-time, with weekend call coverage Employment Type: Locum/Temporary Licenses/Certifications: MI medical license, Board Certified in Gastroenterology, ERCP experience REQUIRED Experience: Prior GI experience required; 2+ years preferred Pay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time per legal requirements Travel, licensure, and certification reimbursements when applicable Licensure, certification, travel reimbursements as per policy What You’ll Do Provide outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology services in a hospital setting Perform ERCP procedures (REQUIRED) Support approximately 18 outpatient and 20 inpatient scopes daily Manage consults and endoscopy procedures within scheduled hours Collaborate closely with a team of physicians and advanced practice providers Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and reporting Cover weekend call shifts, providing high-quality patient care during those times Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards What You Need Valid Michigan medical license Board Certified in Gastroenterology Minimum 2 years of GI experience, including ERCP proficiency Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities Ability to manage inpatient and outpatient procedures independently About the Assignment Join a reputable hospital in Petoskey, Michigan, known for its supportive environment and commitment to patient care.
