\nBrief Summary:\n
\nThe Director of Work Preparation and Planning is responsible for establishing internal logistics, tactical purchasing, and planning. This role provides leadership and guidance on all aspects of work preparation, planning, and the Rittal Production System, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement across supply chain and production processes.\n

\nKey Responsibilities:\n
\n
\nEstablish internal logistics, tactical purchasing, and production planning\n
\nAdvise company leadership on work preparation, planning, and production systems\n
\nProvide performance management leadership to drive employee engagement\n
\nInspire and maintain a strong safety culture and safe working environment\n
\nEnsure compliance with policies and procedures\n
\nPlan, implement, and control supply chain operations from origin to consumption\n
\nBuild sustainable logistics networks aligned with local and HQ strategic goals\n
\nOversee inventory management, capacity management, and new product introduction processes\n
\nOptimize network and warehouse operations for best-in-class performance\n
\nDrive internal logistics optimization projects to improve inventory accuracy and parts supply\n
\nEnsure continuous material supply and proper inventory levels\n
\nOversee production planning processes and teams\n
\nOptimize production capacity using SAP functionality for steady production flow\n
\nSupport improvements in lot sizes and SIOP processes\n
\nEnhance data collection, analysis, and communication for better decision-making\n
\nProvide prototype support and ensure accurate BOM and routings for specials\n
\n
\nQualifications:\n
\n
\nEducation:\n
\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field\n
\nEquivalent experience in supply chain management leadership\n
\nExperience & Skills:\n
\nExpertise in SIOP, supply chain management, order management, manufacturing, Lean, and logistics\n
\nExperience in sheet metal fabrication, coating, and manual assembly of electrical cabinets\n
\nProven success in logistics, production planning, lean manufacturing, and tactical purchasing\n
\nKnowledge of continuous improvement methods (Lean, Six Sigma)\n
\nDeep SAP knowledge required\n
\nStrong analytical, leadership, and communication skills\n
\nProficiency in MS Office tools\n
\nAbility to work in a matrix environment\n
\nTravel up to 10%\n
\nPreferred Certifications:\n
\nAPICS, ASCM, Six Sigma Black Belt\n
