\n As a CNC Machine Operator, you'll play an important role in the facility by operating CNC saw machines to accurately cut metal bars to specific dimensions. This is a great opportunity for an experienced machine operator who enjoys hands-on work, precision, and learning new technology.\n

\n What You'll Be Doing:\n
\n

  • Operate CNC saw machines to cut steel, brass, and other metal bar stock to customer specifications
    • \n
  • Enter dimensions into the CNC machine's computer interface
    • \n
  • Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
    • \n
  • Measure materials and verify cuts meet precise specifications
    • \n
  • Use a tape measure and basic math to calculate dimensions
    • \n
  • Load and unload metal bars from the machine
    • \n
  • Inspect materials for accuracy and quality
    • \n
  • Follow detailed work instructions and maintain a high level of attention to detail
    • \n

\n Pay: $22/hr\n
\n

\n
\n
\n Schedule:\n
\n
\n Swing Shift | Monday-Friday\n
\n 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n What We're Looking For:\n
\n
    \n
  • At least 3 months of machine operating experience within the last 6 months
    • \n
  • Experience making machine adjustments or changing machine functions
    • \n
  • Able to read a tape measure accurately down to 1/16th of an inch
    • \n
  • Comfortable performing basic multiplication and division
    • \n
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with precise measurements
    • \n
  • Comfortable using computer screens and learning new technology
    • \n
  • Able to regularly lift approximately 50 lbs. when loading and unloading metal bars
    • \n
  • Steel-toed boots required and must be provided by the employee
    • \n
  • Forklift experience is preferred but not required. You'll receive training and certification on their sit-down forklifts.
