Quick Facts: Location: Boston, MA (55 Fruit Street) Start Date: 09/07/2026 End Date: 12/07/2026 Shift: Day Shift, 3x13-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 7:00 PM) Hours/Week: 39 hours/week Employment Type: Contract (Travel and Reimbursements included) Licensure/Certs: MA State License, BC in Neurosurgery (preferred) Experience: Minimum 1 year neuro experience required Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $151.32/hr Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Licensure, travel, and certification reimbursements Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws What You’ll Do: Collaborate with residents to round on neuro inpatient cases Review patient plans and establish orders Assist with discharge planning and patient follow-up Review and remove drains (Hemovac, JP drains) when necessary Coordinate patient care for inpatient neurosurgery cases Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care Document patient interactions using Epic EMR What You Need: Current Massachusetts license to practice as a Physician Assistant Board Certified in Neurosurgery At least 1 year of neuro-related PA experience Ability to efficiently review clinical orders and assist with inpatient management Strong patient care skills and team collaboration Preferred ability to remove drains About the Assignment: This position is located at a leading hospital in Boston focusing on neurosurgical inpatient care for pediatric and adult patients. The team works collaboratively to provide high-quality, patient-centered neuro care. The role involves rounding, reviewing patient plans, managing orders, and assisting with discharge procedures—all within a daytime schedule that excludes nights and holidays.
