Quick Facts: Location: UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies, Loveland, CO Start Date: Pending candidate availability End Date/Duration: Full-time permanent position Shift: Nocturnist overnight shifts (typically 12 hours) Hours/week: 40+ hours Employment Type: Full-time License/Certifications: Colorado Medical Provider License (or eligible), BLS, NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant Experience: Minimum 2 years trauma/surgical experience or completion of a surgical fellowship strongly preferred Pay & Benefits: Salary: $136,822 – $179,379 annually, commensurate with experience Incentives: Up to $10,000 annually through Quality Value Incentive Plan (QVIP) Relocation: Up to $10,000 for eligible candidates Additional Benefits: Fully paid malpractice, CME allowance up to $3,500/year plus 5 CME days, comprehensive medical/dental/vision/life insurance, retirement plans with employer match, paid time off, paid family/medical leave, education assistance, PSLF eligibility Other Perks: Voluntary benefits including FSA, HSA, pet insurance, and discount programs What You’ll Do: Provide overnight trauma and acute surgical care in a high-acuity environment Manage trauma admissions, emergency general surgeries, and inpatient cases Perform patient evaluations, develop comprehensive care plans, interpret diagnostic results Assist trauma surgeons with procedures and resuscitation efforts Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Document all clinical activities efficiently in Epic EMR Practice autonomously while adhering to facility protocols and safety standards Support quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives Engage in professional development and potential leadership opportunities What You Need: Active Colorado Physician Assistant license (or eligibility) BLS and NCCPA certification (also known as PANCE) Minimum 2 years of trauma or surgical experience; Fellowship considered highly advantageous Strong clinical skills in trauma and emergency surgeries Ability to work independently during overnight shifts in a high-pressure setting About the Assignment: Join a leading facility in Loveland, Colorado, renowned for its high acuity trauma and surgical care.
