Quick Facts Location: Richmond, VA at a leading facility in Richmond, Virginia Start Date: 07/13/2026 End Date/Duration: Multiple coverage dates through August 25, 2026 Shift: Monday–Friday, with some required call coverage Hours/Week: Not specified, flexible scheduling within coverage dates Employment Type: Locum/Temporary assignment Licenses/Certifications: Medical license in Virginia or eligible for licensure, DEA, BLS, and appropriate credentials Experience: Prior Hematology/Oncology experience required Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $19,500.00 Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time as per applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You'll Do Provide inpatient and outpatient Hematology and Oncology care Oversee care for adult patients, managing symptoms and treatment plans Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including NP, RNs, and other staff Participate in patient enrollment for research studies when appropriate Offer call coverage support, including hospital rounding and consults Document patient visits using EPIC EMR system Ensure compliance with facility protocols and standards of care What You Need Active Medical license in Virginia or eligibility for licensure Board Certified or eligible in Hematology/Oncology Minimum of 2 years' relevant clinical experience Willingness to oversee NP and participate in research enrollment Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This assignment is at a prominent cancer institute within a leading hospital in Richmond, VA, specializing in inpatient and outpatient oncology and hematology care.
