Quick Facts Location: Savannah, GA (4700 Waters Avenue) Start Date: Negotiable Duration: Permanent, Full-Time Shift: 24/7 in-house coverage with organized call schedule Hours/Week: Full-time (hours flexible per hospital needs) Employment Type: Permanent Licensure: Georgia medical license or eligible; Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist Experience: Previous NICU/neonatology clinical experience preferred Pay & Benefits Compensation: Salary discussions during interview; competitive based on experience Additional Compensation: Sign-on bonus, relocation assistance Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision insurance Life and Disability coverage Healthcare FSA, Dependent Care FSA, HSA options 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Program Optional voluntary benefits Some benefits provided at no cost depending on plan selection Work Environment: Supportive team with strong institutional backing, promotes physician wellness and balanced schedule What You’ll Do Provide specialized neonatal intensive care in a 92-bed Level IV NICU Manage high-acuity, critically ill, and premature newborns Participate in 24/7 in-house coverage, sharing responsibilities with a team of neonatologists and NNPs Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists for integrated patient care Support and supervise resident rotations within the NICU Engage in continuous, evidence-based clinical care and quality improvement initiatives Communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary team members Contribute to a high-performance clinical environment that emphasizes best practices and patient safety What You Need Required: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology (ABP) Valid medical license or eligibility in Georgia Proven experience in neonatal intensive care Preferred: Prior NICU experience Ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment Commitment to family-centered care About the Assignment Join a high-acuity, academic-style NICU environment at a leading healthcare organization in Savannah, GA.
