\nBrief Job Summary:\n
\nThe Paint Supervisor oversees the Paint load/Unload team to schedule and monitor workflow, manage material movement, and ensure continuous operations throughout the production cycles. This role is responsible for maintaining a smooth, efficient facility while ensuring a safe environment and supporting operational excellence.\n

\nKey Responsibilities:\n
\nProduction & Scheduling\n
\nSupervise finite production schedules for the manufacture of industrial or commercial products\n
\nCollaborate with production supervisors to review work progress and communicate changes in processes\n
\nEstablish a feedback loop with schedulers and production personnel to resolve schedule-related issues\n
\nUse shop floor control staff to isolate problems and implement preventative systems\n
\nNotify management of work progress, material availability, and potential production issues\n
\nSupport daily schedule communication to production departments\n
\nProvide daily schedule performance reporting (Plan vs Output) for assembly and critical fabrication\n
\nReview critical orders and manage escalations affecting the production plan\n
\nPrepare and send the daily Paint Plan and monitor output\n
\nEnsure alignment of raw material picking with established production schedules\n
\nMonitor production progress and update MES (RLGL) with accurate order status\n
\nSummarize daily production status and share updates through appropriate channels\n
\nTeam Leadership & Development\n
\nSupport employee development and set clear expectations and goals\n
\nProvide backup coverage for team members as needed\n
\nParticipate actively in continuous improvement projects\n
\nPromote a positive, safe, and efficient work environment\n
\nTechnical Oversight\n
\nEnsure compliance with all Work Instructions, procedures, and safety policies\n
\nUtilize SAP and related IT tools with proficiency\n
\nCreate and supervise finite production schedules and sequence plans\n
\nAlign schedules with customer orders and finished goods plans\n
\nEnsure accurate material and resource allocation across production areas\n
\nSupport SAP documentation needs including scrap and reproduction\n
\nAnalyze production data to identify improvement opportunities\n

\nQualifications:\n
\nEducation & Experience\n
\nHigh school diploma or GED required\n
\nExperience or education equivalent to 10 years in operations, specifically manufacturing and production control\n
\nMinimum 5+ years of SAP experience\n
\nTechnical Skills\n
\nProficient in SAP ERP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)\n
\nStrong understanding of production routings, capacity balancing, and planning processes\n
\nAbility to interpret both verbal and written instructions\n
\nStrong problem-solving and mathematical skills\n
\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities\n
\nStrong organizational and time management abilities\n

\nPhysical Requirements:\n
\nStand, walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the shift\n
\nOccasionally lift up to 50 lbs to waist level\n
\nFrequently lift 25–40 lbs to waist level and up to 25 lbs above shoulders\n
\nMental Requirements:\n
\nAbility to multi-task and learn various build requirements\n
\nAdaptability to changing assignments\n
\nEffective communication with peers, supervisors, and managers\n
\nSafety Requirements:\n
\nWear safety-toed footwear, safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, and additional PPE as required\n

\nMake and assist with logical decisions necessary for production continuity\n
\nRelationships:\n
\nDirect Contacts: Production Control Manager, Assembly Manager, Team Supervisors, Team Members\n
\nIndirect Contacts: Various departments throughout the Urbana plant\n

\nWarehouse and manufacturing environment\n
\nExposure to hot and cold temperatures as well as dust\n
