Key Qualifications:
- Current California state licensure as an SLP or SLP-CF (School Certification Required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLPs
- Minimum 2 years of experience practicing in California school settings
- At least 1 year of experience using SEIS (Special Education Information System)
- Track record managing high caseloads and incoming referrals effectively
- Previous supervisory experience with SLPAs and facilitators is advantageous
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable working onsite—remote or virtual roles not available for this position
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language assessment, intervention, and therapy to a diverse student population within the district
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in SEIS and school systems
- Supervise and collaborate with SLPAs to ensure the highest level of care and compliance
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing professional development
- Effectively manage a robust caseload and address referrals efficiently
