Commercial Electrician (Night Shift Only)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Commercial Electrician to join our team. The Commercial Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in an commercial setting. This includes troubleshooting electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring that all electrical components comply with safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

\n
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical power systems and motors
\n
• Troubleshoot electrical problems, including diagnosing faults in electrical equipment and motors
\n
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
\n
• Perform routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment to ensure safety and functionality
\n
• Installation of EMT and rigid conduit
\n
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters
\n
• Follow strict safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
\n

Skills / Qualifications:

\n
• 2 years experience in Industrial or Commercial electrical installation, repair and maintenance
\n
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components, including control systems and motors
\n
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical documents
\n
• Familiarity with electrical codes and safety regulations, such as the National Electrical Code (NEC)
\n
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and machinery
\n

Physical Requirements

\n
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs or more)
\n
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including climbing ladders, working at heights, and in confined spaces
\n
• Must be able and willing to work in outside environments
\n

Pay and Work Schedule

\n
• ELECTRCIAN $28 - $30 (per diem availabile)
\n
• Up to 50hrs
\n
• Night Shift Only
\n
• Must be available for overtime during special projects
\n
