Quick Facts: Location: Baton Rouge, LA Start Date: 07/17/2026 Duration: Ongoing assignment Shift: Clinic Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; hospital rotation every 5-6 weeks Hours/Week: 40+ hours Employment Type: Locum Tenens Licensure: Active Louisiana medical license, supervising license required Experience: Prior cardiology inpatient/outpatient experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (pay package discussed upon application) Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel reimbursements as applicable What You’ll Do: Provide inpatient cardiology care and rounds Conduct outpatient consultations and follow-ups Review diagnostic studies and communicate results Participate in multidisciplinary team rounds Supervise and support Physician Assistants and residents Coordinate care with imaging/testing teams Maintain clear documentation and patient records What You Need: Active Louisiana medical license with supervising privileges Board-certified or eligible in cardiology Minimum 3 weeks/month availability for full-time work Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude Ability to perform inpatient and outpatient duties effectively About the Assignment: Join a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to excellence in cardiology care, offering a mix of outpatient clinic work and hospital rotations.
