About the Role:
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will perform a variety of assembly tasks across general, electronic, and mechanical functions, contributing directly to production efforts. Your keen attention to detail and mechanical aptitude will allow you to work confidently with drawings, schematics, and instructions to accurately assemble, modify, and rework components. You will play a vital part in maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols, including ESD prevention and explosive material handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble components and subassemblies following detailed instructions, schematics, and visual aids.
• Perform electronic assembly tasks such as PCB loading, soldering to IPC standards, and repairing anomalies under microscopes.
• Handle inert and energetic materials with precision, operating analytical balances and powder-press equipment safely.
• Set up and assemble subcomponents, perform cabling, soldering, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
• Maintain required certifications through ongoing training and strictly follow safety protocols—including ESD measures and explosive area procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience of 1-2 years in electronic, mechanical, or general assembly preferred.
• Strong mechanical skills, dexterity, and fine motor coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, drawings, and schematics effectively.
• Proficiency in IPC J-STD and IPC-A-610 standards for electronic assembly.
• Excellent communication skills and capability to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in environments involving explosive materials.
• Comfortable in fast-paced settings with strict safety guidelines.

Work Schedules:

• Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• OR Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
