Quick Facts • Location: 312 9th Street Southwest, Waverly, IA 50677 • Start Date: 12/31/2025 • End Date/Duration: [Specify if known or leave open-ended] • Shift: [Specify shift type if available; typically day or night] • Hours/week: [Specify hours if available] • Employment Type: Contract/Locum • License/Certs: Active Iowa medical license, Board Eligible in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with Obstetrics focus • Experience: Ideally 2+ years in OB/GYN or hospitalist roles Pay & Benefits • Hourly Rate: $195.00/hour • Pay package discussed upon application • Weekly pay via direct deposit • Comprehensive Medical Benefits (W-2) • Robust referral bonus program • 24/7 dedicated support team • Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws • Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do • Provide OB triage and obstetric care, including deliveries and gyn emergencies • Manage unassigned gynecological emergencies • Cover hospital assignments with a typical patient encounter volume of 13+ per day • Perform routine deliveries, including 1-4 average per hospitalist shift • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care • Document care using the healthcare facility’s EMR system (TBD) • Support GYN coverage as required within your scope of practice What You Need Required: • Medical license in Iowa (or eligible to obtain) • Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with OB focus • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in obstetrics or hospital medicine Preferred: • Experience in a hospital-based setting • Ability to manage obstetric emergencies effectively • Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This locum position is based at a leading healthcare facility in Waverly, IA, dedicated to providing exceptional women's health services.
