Quick Facts Location: 1530 Lone Oak Road, Paducah, KY 42003 Start Date: 07/24/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing or as specified Shift: 24-hour call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) Hours per Week: Variable based on schedule Employment Type: Locum/Temporary Licenses/Certifications: Active medical license in KY; Board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery Experience: Proven experience in orthopedic surgical procedures, trauma, and emergency call coverage Pay & Benefits Pay rate: $0.00/hour (competitive pay package discussed upon application) Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Benefits: Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Travel reimbursement (lodging capped at ~$150/night, standard/economy travel bookings) What You’ll Do Provide orthopedic surgical care, including hip nailing procedures, fracture management, dislocations, amputations, deformity corrections, tumors, and joint replacements (hip, knee, shoulder) Manage spinal surgeries (lumbar, cervical, thoracic) with or without instrumentation Perform trauma work such as treating fractures and dislocations, and handling amputations and deformities Handle adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient cases Respond to ICU or emergency calls during scheduled shifts and provide timely callback support as needed Utilize EPIC EMR system to document patient care accurately What You Need Active medical license in Kentucky Board-certified or eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Hands-on experience with hip nailing, trauma procedures, joint replacements, and spinal surgery Ability to work a 24-hour call schedule with flexibility for callbacks Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Paducah, Kentucky, committed to delivering high-quality orthopedic surgical care in a fast-paced environment.
