Plastics Maintenance Technician - Rutland, VT

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operational performance of various machinery within the plastics facility, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production and packaging equipment using a broad range of maintenance tools.

• Collaborate with technical support teams to install and commission new equipment, ensuring seamless integration and operation.

• Read and interpret work orders, perform scheduled maintenance, and document all service activities accurately through detailed reports.

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

• Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Technical training in mechanical systems, industrial electrical, and hydraulics.

• PLC operation and programming experience are preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.53 per hour
