Quick Facts Location: Clinton, NC Start Date: 07/21/2026 Duration: Ongoing coverage Shift: 24-hour call coverage as scheduled Hours/week: Variable, based on call and patient needs Employment Type: Contract/Locum License/Certs: NC Medical License, NC DEA, NC Medicaid Credential, Board Certified or Eligible Experience: At least 2 years of OB-GYN practice; recent hospital experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay rate: $1.00/hour (rate discussed upon application) Benefits: Competitive pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) including health, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid sick time according to law Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Professional malpractice insurance paid for Optional overtime opportunities What You’ll Do Provide OB-GYN clinical care including outpatient visits, hospital rounds, and emergent procedures Respond to 24/7 call for emergent C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and GYN procedures Attend to high-risk deliveries with transfers to specialized facilities when needed Cover hospital labor and postpartum units, handling approximately 27 deliveries and 11 C-Sections monthly Collaborate with hospitalist, anesthesiology, and radiology support teams Document patient encounters accurately and timely in hospital records Participate in patient rounds, consults, and emergent care during assigned shifts What You Need Required: Active North Carolina medical license and NC DEA registration NC Medicaid Credential Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Minimum 2 years’ hospital OB-GYN experience Current malpractice insurance status with no recent or open cases Ability to work within 20-minute proximity to Clinton hospital Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 Preferred: Experience with high-risk obstetrics and emergency procedures Familiarity with hospital protocols for maternity and GYN care About the Assignment This assignment involves providing comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services at a well-equipped hospital in Clinton, NC.
