Quick Facts Location: 1900 Columbus Avenue, Bay City, MI 48708 Start Date: 03/01/2026 End Date: 12/28/2026 Shift: Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24-hour call); Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shift) Hours/Week: Variable based on schedule Employment Type: Locum / Per diem Licenses/Certifications: Medical license in Michigan, Board Certified in Gastroenterology, ERCP certification required Experience: Minimum required — previous GI and ERCP experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application (includes malpractice, orientation, call rates, holiday rates, and additional stipends) Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2 employment) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick leave as per state and federal laws Travel and licensure reimbursements applicable where permitted What You’ll Do Provide 24-hour call coverage for Gastroenterology services, including ERCP procedures Cover outpatient GI consultations and procedures at a facility with supportive hospitalist and colorectal surgery teams Collaborate with hospital staff, including two colorectal surgeons in the community Ensure high-quality care for patients requiring routine and urgent GI interventions Adhere to facility protocols and documentation standards Participate in scheduled training and ongoing education activities What You Need Required: Medical license in Michigan Board Certified in Gastroenterology ERCP certification At least 2 years of GI practice experience Strong procedural skills and patient management Preferred: Experience in outpatient and inpatient settings Ability to work independently and within a team Excellent communication and clinical skills About the Assignment Join a dedicated team at a prominent facility in Bay City, MI, offering a balanced mix of outpatient and urgent care responsibilities.
