Quick Facts: Location: Macon, GA Start Date: 05/15/2026 Duration: Permanent, Full-Time Shift: Day and Night shifts, flexible shared call schedule Hours/Week: 40 hours/week Employment Type: Full-time License/Certs: Medical license in Georgia; Board Certification in Neonatology Experience: Pediatric Residency + Neonatology Fellowship Pay & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience (discuss at interview) Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 Substantial sign-on bonus Relocation assistance Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Disability, FSA, HSA options 401(k) retirement plan, Employee Stock Purchase Program Supportive team environment with 24/7 dedicated support Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do: Provide comprehensive neonatal intensive care in a modern Level III NICU with 70 beds Manage critically ill and premature newborns utilizing advanced therapies such as high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, and total body cooling Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, pediatric specialists, and maternal-fetal medicine experts Participate in family-centered rounding and shared call schedules Educate and mentor pediatric residents and medical students Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based neonatal care practices Deliver care in a newly renovated, state-of-the-art NICU opened in 2019 Practice within a level I trauma center environment What You Need: MD or DO degree and Georgia medical license (or eligible) Board-certified/board-eligible in Neonatology 2+ years of neonatal intensive care experience preferred Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical skills J1 visa candidates accepted; relocation may be required About the Assignment: This full-time position is based at a leading facility in Macon, Georgia, providing advanced neonatal care in a collaborative, physician-led environment.
