Quick Facts Location: 17 Belmont Avenue, Brattleboro, VT 05301 Start Date: To be discussed Duration: Full-time permanent position Shift: Monday – Friday, day shifts Hours/week: Approximately 40 hours Employment Type: Full-time employed physician Licensure: Vermont Medical License; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred; no new grads unless qualified Pay: $1.00/hour (Note: pay details to be discussed; primary focus on candidate quality) Pay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application Stable weekday schedule, no overnight/weekend call Supportive clinical environment with advanced practice providers Opportunity for procedural growth (Echocardiography, stress testing, device management) Additional benefits to be discussed directly with employer What You’ll Do Provide outpatient noninvasive cardiology care in a clinical setting Manage a patient panel in collaboration with a physician and Advanced Practice Providers Perform and interpret EKGs for diagnostics and treatment planning Conduct ambulatory cardiac monitoring and interpret results Perform transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) Potentially perform nuclear stress testing and stress echocardiography Coordinate patient care with referral centers for inpatient and advanced cardiovascular needs Maintain high standards for patient safety, documentation, and diagnostic accuracy Participate in a structured weekday clinic schedule and interdisciplinary team meetings What You Need Required: Valid Vermont Medical License or eligible for licensure Board Certified or Eligible in Cardiology CPR certification At least 1 year of cardiology outpatient experience preferred Strong diagnostic and procedural skills (echo, stress testing) Preferred: Experience with device management Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team About the Assignment This position involves outpatient noninvasive cardiology services within a community-oriented medical group in Brattleboro, Vermont.
