Quick Facts Location: Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, Brattleboro, VT Start Date: Negotiable End Date/Duration: Permanent position Shift: Full-time, outpatient and surgical duties Hours/week: Typically 40 hours Employment Type: Full-time employed License/Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology, DEA certification required Experience: 1+ years preferred; no new grads under 1 year experience Pay & Benefits Salary Range: $300,000 – $400,000 annually Pay Rate: $1.00 per hour (based on specific pay fields) Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package (details discussed upon application); modern facilities; supportive team environment; work-life balance with light call schedule What You’ll Do Diagnose and treat a variety of urological conditions including kidney stones, BPH, incontinence, and urinary infections Perform surgical procedures in modern operating rooms with preoperative and postoperative care Provide hospital and ER consultations in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team Educate patients and families on treatment options, diagnoses, and preventive strategies Maintain accurate documentation following hospital policies and regulatory standards Engage in quality improvement projects and ongoing professional development Participate in a light call schedule (~7 days/month) Work primarily at a single-site practice with a collaborative team What You Need Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology DEA certification Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred Strong diagnostic, surgical, and patient communication skills Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment About the Assignment This position is based at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, a community-focused facility offering a broad spectrum of healthcare services.
