Quick Facts Location: Dothan, AL Start Date: Flexible End Date/Duration: Permanent Shift: M-F, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Hours/week: 40 Employment Type: Full-Time License/Certifications: Medical License in Alabama or eligible, Board Certified/Eligible in Neurology Experience: Prior neurologist outpatient experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application Competitive annual base salary above MGMA standards Productivity bonus opportunity Comprehensive health, dental, disability, and life insurance Retirement plan Paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage Paid time off and extended illness benefits Paid interview expenses Signing bonus package valued at $100,000 Student loan repayment options CME and licensure fee allowances What You’ll Do Provide outpatient neurologic care at a dedicated clinic located on the Southeast Health campus Manage a patient panel independently with support from a nurse practitioner and neuroscience team Collaborate with neurointerventionalists and neurohospitalists within a multidisciplinary team Utilize stroke teleneurology services for acute stroke management Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient education Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare standards Contribute to a positive patient experience and community outreach What You Need Required: Medical degree (MD or DO) Alabama medical license or eligibility Board certification or eligibility in Neurology Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred: Outpatient neurology experience Familiarity with stroke care and teleneurology services About the Assignment This outpatient neurology position is with a leading facility in Dothan, Alabama, known for its comprehensive neuroscience services and supportive working environment.
