Quick Facts: Location: Bismarck, ND Start Date: 07/30/2026 Duration: Ongoing with possible extensions Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday-Friday), with evening call 4:00 PM – 8:00 AM, plus 24-hour weekend call Hours/Week: 40+ Employment Type: Locum/Per Diem Licenses/Certs: North Dakota license required, Board Certified in Radiology with Interventional expertise Experience: Proven IR general experience; stroke capability preferred but not required Pay & Benefits: Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Competitive orientation rate: $287.50–$312.50 (after 8 hours) Daily rate: $6,000–$6,200 (all hours worked) Holiday daily rate: $9,000–$9,300 On call: $4,200–$4,800 per 24 hours (including 4 hours free) Holiday on-call: $6,300–$7,200 per 24 hours Call back: $575–$625 per hour of patient contact after gratis hours; holiday callback: $862.50–$937.50/hour What You’ll Do: Perform diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions, including angiography, angioplasty, and stenting Conduct anticoagulation therapies such as thrombolytic, embolization, and aspiration procedures Insert vascular access devices, central lines, ports, and IVC filters Manage stroke thrombectomy procedures, with neuro intervention experience preferred Assist with intervention procedures including biopsies, abscess drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and pain management injections Support hospital IR services during scheduled shifts and on-call periods What You Need: Active North Dakota medical license Board Certified in Radiology with experience in IR procedures Minimum of 2+ years of IR general experience; stroke experience preferred but not required Key skills: diagnostic angiography, vascular interventions, stroke thrombectomy, and interventional procedures in body (non-neuro) regions About the Assignment: Join a leading facility in Bismarck, ND, dedicated to delivering excellent patient care through comprehensive interventional radiology services.
