Quick Facts Location: 8260 Atlee Road, Mechanicsville, VA, 23116 Start Date: 06/09/2026 Duration: Ongoing work opportunity Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Locum/Temporary Licensure/Certifications: Virginia medical license, Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology/Oncology preferred Experience: Prior Hematology/Oncology experience required Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $19.50/hour Pay Schedule: Weekly via direct deposit Additional Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team throughout your assignment Paid travel if needed What You’ll Do Manage inpatient and outpatient Hematology/Oncology cases Collaborate with a dedicated team to provide patient-centered care Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care Document patient encounters using Epic EMR system Provide care for adult and geriatric patients in a Level III trauma setting Rounding on hospitalized patients and managing outpatient clinic patients Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and facility protocols What You Need Current Virginia medical license and facility privileges Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology and Oncology Experience with Epic EMR preferred Ability to work independently in a solo practice setting Strong communication and organizational skills About the Assignment This position is based at a leading facility in Mechanicsville, VA, that offers a comprehensive environment for Hematology and Oncology care.
