Quick Facts: Location: Bon Secours Richmond OB-GYN at St. Mary’s, 1501 Maple Avenue, Suite 100, Richmond, VA 23226 Start Date: 05/01/2026 End Date: 08/31/2026 Shift: Office hours 8 AM – 4 PM, call hours 24/7 (1 in 4 ratio) Hours/week: 40 Employment Type: Locum to Perm License/Certifications: Medical license in VA required Experience: Prior OB/GYN practice experience preferred but not specified Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $19.50/hour Pay package discussed upon application Benefits: Compensation package includes competitive pay; additional benefits available (details provided upon application) What You’ll Do: Provide comprehensive OB-GYN care in both office and hospital settings Conduct routine low-risk pregnancy management and high-risk pregnancy assessments Perform diagnostic and screening ultrasounds, fetal heart rate monitoring, and interpretation of NSTs and CSTs Manage labor and delivery, including vaginal births, C-sections, and complicated deliveries Perform office gynecological procedures such as IUD placement, colposcopy, and minor surgeries Collaborate with a team of physicians, midwives, and support staff to ensure quality patient care Document patient encounters accurately in EMR (EPIC) What You Need: MD or DO with OB-GYN certification and active VA medical license Experience in obstetrics and gynecology, including ultrasound and delivery procedures Ability to handle both low and high-risk pregnancies Excellent communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment: This assignment involves providing OB-GYN services at a reputable hospital and outpatient facility in Richmond, VA. The practice handles a predominantly low-risk obstetrics population, with on-site ultrasound and lab services, supporting seamless patient care delivery.
