Quick Facts Location: Dothan, AL Start Date: Immediate / upon credentialing Duration: Permanent placement Shift: M-F, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with shared call at 1:4 Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Full-time, hospital-employed Licenses/Certifications: Medical license for Alabama, Board Certified/Eligible in Hematology/Oncology, BLS, DEA Experience: Open to new graduates, prior experience preferred but not required Pay & Benefits Pay package: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, details discussed upon application Benefits: Malpractice insurance, health insurance options, PTO, CME allowance, and more (specific benefits to be discussed) What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Hematology/Oncology care within the hospital’s Cancer Center Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiation oncologists, nurses, and other specialists Participate in tumor board meetings and contribute to cancer registry data collection Manage patient treatments, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care Support a patient-centered approach focused on high-quality treatment and compassionate care What You Need Required: Medical license for Alabama / qualified to obtain licensure Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology BLS and DEA certifications Clean malpractice and background history Preferred: Experience in inpatient and outpatient oncology care Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team About the Assignment This position is at a leading facility in Dothan, Alabama, featuring a dedicated Cancer Center with onsite radiation therapy, infusion services, and a multidisciplinary approach to cancer care.
