Quick Facts: Location: 2425 Samaritan Drive, San Jose, CA 95124 Start Date: 05/08/2026 End Date/Duration: Permanent Shift: 24-hour hospitalist coverage, flexible schedule Hours/week: Full-time (FTE options available) Employment Type: Permanent, full-time License/Certs: Board Certified or Eligible OB-GYN required Experience: At least 2+ years in obstetrics; preferred maternal-fetal care experience Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (Note: Pay specifics are discussed upon application; here listed per the provided fields) Competitive Base Salary: $296,400 (0.71 FTE) + bonus incentive $328,320 (0.78 FTE) + bonus incentive Additional Pay: $190/hour for extra clinical hours Sign-on bonus & Relocation assistance Comprehensive Medical Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Other Benefits: Telehealth, disability & life insurance, HSA & FSA, parental leave, CME allowance, 401(k) with profit sharing, employee stock purchase plan, paid sick time, and more What You’ll Do: Provide 24/7 in-house obstetric hospitalist coverage for a high-acuity, maternal-fetal medicine-based unit Manage OB triage and unassigned patient cases; respond to patient transports Assist with cesarean sections (average 0-3 cases per month) and postpartum inpatient rounding Participate in shared rounding with MFM specialists for antepartum patients Evaluate gynecologic emergencies in the hospital setting Coordinate care with neonatal, anesthesia, pediatric, and GYN surgical teams Deliver comprehensive obstetric care in a multidisciplinary environment supported by Level III NICU and 24/7 specialty coverage What You Need: Valid California medical license and current OB-GYN certification (board eligible or certified) Minimum 2+ years of Obstetrics experience; maternal-fetal care preferred Excellent clinical skills, adaptability, and ability to work in a high-volume, collaborative setting About the Assignment: Join a prestigious hospital in San Jose, a city at the heart of Silicon Valley known for innovation and diversity.
