Quick Facts: Location: Coos Bay, OR Start Date: Negotiable Duration: Permanent Shift: Day shift, four 10-hour shifts (no nights or weekends) Hours per week: 40 Employment Type: Full-time License/Certs: BC/BE in Board Certified Experience: Prior experience in Oncology preferred Pay & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience (Rate: $1.00/hour; actual pay discussed upon application) Sign-on bonus potential (to be discussed) Relocation assistance Comprehensive benefits including health insurance, PTO, CME allowance, licensing and professional fee reimbursement, onsite wellness and childcare services Additional: Paid call shared equally, outpatient with occasional inpatient consults, affiliation with Oregon Health & Sciences University and OHSU Knight Cancer Network What You’ll Do: Provide high-quality, evidence-based oncology care in a collaborative team environment Perform patient assessments, management, and follow-up for outpatient oncology patients Assist with delivering chemotherapy, radiation therapy support, and clinical trials participation Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care Ensure accurate documentation and communication with referring physicians Participate in hospital and department meetings and quality improvement initiatives What You Need: Oregon State Advanced Practice Nurse License or eligible Board Certified or Board Eligible in oncology or related specialty Minimum of 1 year of relevant oncology experience preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of software interfaces, including EPIC, is preferred About the Assignment: Join a leading facility in Coos Bay, Oregon, renowned for its comprehensive cancer services, including radiation, chemotherapy, clinical trials, and patient support programs.
