Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Detroit, MI Why apply now? Quick Facts Location: Henry Ford Hospital, 2799 West Grand Boulevard, Detroit, MI 48202 Start Date: 08/31/2026 Duration: Temporary coverage (locum) Shift: Day shifts only (8, 10, or 12 hours) Hours/Week: Varies based on shift schedule Employment Type: Locum/Temporary Licensure/Certifications: Current NBCRNA, BLS, ACLS, PALS required Experience: Not accepting new graduates; must have relevant experience Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $201.00 Pay package discussed upon application Benefits include: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rate Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Deliver anesthesia care for various inpatient surgical procedures, including general, neurosurgical, and deep sedation/MAC cases Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff Conduct preoperative assessments and patient education Administer anesthetics and monitor patients throughout procedures Manage ventilation and oversee physician-administered regional anesthesia Respond to emergencies and ensure patient safety Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives What You Need Required: Current NBCRNA certification Valid state license (must be fully licensed, not in application process) BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications Significant anesthesia experience (not suitable for new graduates) Preferred: Experience in a Level 1 trauma center Familiarity with inpatient surgical care and complex cases About the Assignment Join a prominent hospital in Detroit, MI, providing anesthesia services in a fast-paced, diverse medical environment.
