The role involves working onsite with a caseload of 40-55 students, providing vital speech and language services within a collaborative and resource-rich setting.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active, current Speech-Language Pathology license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working in a school-based environment preferred; comfort supporting Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) populations highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently
- Genuine enthusiasm for empowering K-12 students and collaborating with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students in an onsite ASD classroom setting
- Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and support staff to create and implement IEP goals
- Engage caregivers through ongoing communication and family education
- Track student progress, document sessions, and adjust intervention strategies as needed
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings; provide expertise on speech-language needs
