Step into a rewarding opportunity providing speech-language pathology services for students along the Southeast Texas Coast. This contract position, beginning August 3, 2026, and concluding May 28, 2027, seeks a dedicated professional interested in working full-time (40 hours per week). While on-site candidates are strongly preferred, virtual providers are also welcome to apply and should specify their modality preference.

In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in supporting student communication growth, with primary responsibility supervising district SLPAs. You'll also engage in core SLP tasks tailored to student needs across various age groups. Flexibility is required as school assignments and caseload specifics will be determined as the assignment approaches.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Texas SLP license (required)
  • Ability to complete Texas fingerprinting requirements quickly, if not already done
  • School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Frontline/E-Sped platform
  • Previous experience supervising SLPAs is highly valued
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Must not be a former district employee at this time
  • Ability to specify availability for on-site or virtual delivery

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support school district SLPAs
  • Conduct assessments, provide therapy, implement IEPs, and collaborate with educational teams
  • Maintain thorough documentation and compliance within Frontline/E-Sped
  • Contribute to a positive, student-centered educational environment
