Quick Facts Location: 402 East 2nd Street, Duluth, MN 55805, United States Start Date: 09/01/2026 End Date: Ongoing (initial 6-month commitment) Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (unpaid 30-minute lunch) Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract License/Certs: Minnesota medical license, Board Certified in Cardiology and FN or EP certification Experience: Minimum 2 years post-fellowship EP experience with recent Epic EMR proficiency Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $1.00/hour Pay Package: Discussed upon application Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated support team from VHS What You’ll Do Provide specialized EP consultations and care for patients with arrhythmias, primarily Afib and other conditions Conduct procedural assessments and follow-up care Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic EMR Stay compliant with all healthcare regulations and facility protocols Support clinic operations, approximately 60-70% of your time, with the remainder in procedural activities Participate in orientation and ongoing training to stay current with best practices What You Need Required: Valid Minnesota medical license Board Certified in Cardiology with EP or FN certification At least 2 years EP experience post-fellowship Recent Epic EMR experience (within last 12 months) Ability to commit to at least 6 months and work two monotonic Monday-Friday stretches starting September 2026 Preferred: Strong procedural skills in arrhythmia management Excellent communication and teamwork abilities About the Assignment Join a respected healthcare provider in Duluth, Minnesota, offering an outpatient-focused practice with a balanced mix of clinic and procedural work.
