Quick Facts Location: 400 North 17th Street, Allentown, PA 18104 Start Date: 09/16/2025 End Date: 12/16/2025 Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours (09:00 – 17:00) Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Contract Certifications: State license in PA, current BLS/ACLS, required Experience: At least 2 years of optometry experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $119.35/hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws What You’ll Do Conduct comprehensive eye exams and assessments Diagnose and manage ocular conditions Prescribe corrective lenses and treatments Collaborate with medical staff for patient care plans Educate patients on eye health and preventative care Maintain accurate patient records using EMR system Participate in clinic training and shadowing during onboarding What You Need Active PA state optometry license Minimum 2 years’ experience in optometry practice Strong communication skills; Spanish speaking preferred Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Highly prefers candidates who can drive to the facility Clear background and COVID vaccination required About the Assignment Join a respected health facility in Allentown, PA, dedicated to serving the community through excellent eye care. This opportunity is ideal for local providers or those willing to self-fund travel. The clinic will begin with one day per week, with potential for extra hours at other locations. A week of EMR training/shadowing will be provided to ensure a smooth transition.
