Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Specialist – Robotics & PLCs\n
\n
\n$43.00/Hour + Annual Bonuses • Greater Milwaukee Area • 100% Onsite • Direct-Hire\n
\n
\nSCHEDULE: Stable, fixed 1st Shift | Monday – Friday (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) | No chaotic 24/7 "on-call" grind\n
\nPLC & CONTROLS: Hands-on troubleshooting and program monitoring on Allen Bradley or Siemens platforms\n
\nEXPERIENCE: 7+ years of dedicated industrial machinery maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting\n
\nCOMPENSATION: $43.00/Hour base rate + multiple annual performance-based cash bonuses\n
\nCITIZENSHIP: US Citizen or Green Card holder required (no corporate visa sponsorship available)\n
\n
\nIf you are a veteran industrial maintenance professional or automation specialist looking to trade constant emergency night calls and corporate bureaucracy for an elite level of work-life balance, this direct-hire career track offers the perfect destination. This market-leading, employee-centric manufacturer is widely recognized for its technological innovation and long-term staff retention. Rather than simply running machinery to failure, the organization focuses heavily on high-speed system reliability, continuous technical upgrades, and cutting-edge robotic integration.\n
\n
\nThe day-to-day environment completely redefines standard industrial maintenance. Working alongside a highly collaborative production leadership team, you will operate as a respected problem-solver on the floor. The company completely rejects rigid corporate silos, ensuring that technical knowledge is valued and directly rewarded. Backed by exceptional business stability, an outstanding hourly wage, and multiple performance bonuses paid out throughout the year, this provides a rare long-term home for a top-tier trades professional.\n
\n
\nWhat You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)\n
\nPerform advanced technical diagnostics, root-cause analysis, and precision repairs on high-capacity industrial automation, complex robotics, and integrated manufacturing lines.\n
\nServe as the primary onsite technical authority for PLC systems, executing advanced troubleshooting, program monitoring, and system optimizations (Allen Bradley and Siemens).\n
\nInterpret highly complex mechanical blueprints, structural designs, and sophisticated electrical schematics to isolate and resolve high-level system failures rapidly.\n
\nExecute comprehensive, data-driven preventative maintenance tasks on AC/DC electrical systems, advanced pneumatics, and high-pressure hydraulic circuitry.\n
\nUtilize precision welding and shop fabrication skills to safely modify production equipment or repair critical, close-tolerance machine components.\n
\nPartner cross-functionally with plant operations leadership to minimize unplanned downtime while providing technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members.\n
\nWhat We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)\n
\n7+ years of progressively responsible industrial maintenance experience operating inside a sophisticated, fast-paced manufacturing facility.\n
\nVerifiable expertise interfacing with and troubleshooting automated systems, sensors, robotics, and major PLC platforms (Allen Bradley/Siemens).\n
\nA strong, comprehensive background executing complex fluid power rebuilds (pneumatic/hydraulic) and high-voltage AC/DC electrical diagnostics.\n
\nDemonstrated proficiency handling industrial welding and machinery modification to support rapid equipment recovery.\n
\nA rock-solid, consistent work history that reflects long-term commitment, exceptional attendance habits, and professional dedication with past employers.\n
\nLocal proximity, with the requirement to reside within a dependable daily driving radius of the Greater Milwaukee / North Shore area.\n
\n
\nPlease apply here or at impactsolutions.com/opportunities where you can see and apply for any of our open positions.
