Quick Facts: Location: Portsmouth, VA (on-site at multiple clinic locations) Start Date: 10/05/2026 End Date: 09/30/2030 Shift: Monday–Friday, Days; flexible hours as per clinic schedules Hours/Week: 40 hours/week Employment Type: Full-Time Licensure/Certifications: MD or DO from an accredited medical school, current medical license, DEA, BLS, board certification in Family Practice, U.S. citizenship Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent family practice experience Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay: $135.00/hr Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team support Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do: Provide comprehensive family medical care including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention services Support multiple clinic locations within the naval healthcare system Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes Document clinical encounters and manage patient records efficiently Participate in continuous quality improvement and team training initiatives Handle a variety of patient cases typical to family practice in a military healthcare setting What You Need: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Unrestricted medical license in Virginia or ability to obtain one Board certification in Family Practice (American Board of Family Practice) Minimum 1 year of recent family practice experience Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively Ability to perform full scope of family medicine services, including preventive care and emergency response About the Assignment: Support a leading facility in Portsmouth, VA, delivering high-quality, patient-centered family medical services at multiple clinics.
