Quick Facts Location: 850 West Baraga Avenue, Marquette, MI 49855 Start Date: 06/10/2026 Duration: Ongoing with potential extensions Shift: 7a–7a, In-House Call (no response time to be onsite within 20 minutes) Hours/Week: Flexible based on call schedule (typically 2-4 hours per day on onsite call-back) Employment Type: Contract Licensure/Certs: State license to practice in Michigan, ACLS preferred Experience: Urology experience preferred but not required Pay & Benefits Pay rate: $1.00/hour Weekly Pay Schedule: Via direct deposit Medical Benefits: Comprehensive W-2 medical coverage Reimbursements: Licensure, certification, travel, and other applicable expenses Additional Benefits: Paid sick time as per state/federal laws, robust referral bonus program, 24/7 dedicated support team What You'll Do Provide urology call coverage, including management of 1–5 patient consults per shift Support diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as kidney stones, hematuria, and difficult catheter placements Conduct inpatient rounds, patient assessments, and discharge planning for new admissions Document all patient interactions and procedures accurately and timely Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure continuity of care during call shifts Respond to call-ins related to patient symptoms or urgent matters, with onsite presence as needed Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and documentation standards What You Need Valid Michigan medical license for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants Urology experience preferred but not required Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Demonstrated ability to respond promptly within a 20-minute window during call shifts About the Assignment Join a reputable healthcare facility in Marquette, MI, committed to providing excellent urology services.
