Quick Facts Location: 1200 North Beaver Street, Flagstaff, AZ 86001 Start Date: 08/10/2026 End Date: 08/17/2026 Shift: Day shift, 07:00 - 15:00 (Monday-Friday) Hours/week: 40 Employment Type: Contract Licensure/Certs: AZ APRN license, Board Certification (PA or NP), ACLS, BLS, DEA Experience: Minimum 3 years in cardiothoracic surgery with EVH Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $159.13 per hour Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Support cardiothoracic surgery teams in a hospital setting Manage adult CVICU/step-down patients, typically 10-15 per shift Assist with surgeries including procedures like chest tube removal and pacemaker removal Provide post-operative care and monitoring Support the surgical team during procedures and recovery Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation What You Need Required: AZ APRN license or PA certification with AZ licensure eligibility Minimum 3 years’ recent cardiothoracic surgery experience, proficient with EVH ACLS & BLS certification Current DEA registration Certification from NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC in medical-surgical or NP Ability to work day shifts with call coverage Preferred: Experience with complex cardiothoracic procedures Prior hospital-based surgery support About the Assignment Join a dedicated cardiothoracic surgery team at a prominent hospital in Flagstaff, AZ, providing expert care for adult patients in the CVICU and step-down units.
