Quick Facts Location: 2799 West Grand Boulevard, Detroit, MI 48202 Start Date: 11/02/2026 End Date/Duration: Permanent position Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday Call Coverage: Night calls, 1–2 times/month; weekend call 1–2 times/year Hours/Week: 40+ hours (flexible schedule) Employment Type: Permanent placement License/Certs: Michigan medical license, board Certified/Eligible in Neurology Experience: Experienced Neuro/Behavioral Neurologist preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (note: this is a placeholder; competitive salary to be discussed at interview) Benefits: Competitive salary package (discussed upon application) Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick leave according to state and federal laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Opportunity for leadership and academic roles Robust research activities and clinical trials participation What You’ll Do Provide clinical care for adult and geriatric patients with behavioral and cognitive neurological conditions Lead and support a team of neurologists and research professionals Contribute to ongoing clinical research and translational studies in dementia and neurodegenerative diseases Develop and expand the Center for Cognitive Health Collaborate in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows Support hospital and community educational initiatives Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management What You Need Valid Michigan medical license and board certification or eligibility in Neurology 3+ years of clinical experience in behavioral/neuro-psychiatry or related field Strong leadership and research interest Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Commitment to academic excellence and patient-centered care About the Assignment Join a top-tier hospital in Detroit committed to advancing neuroscience through innovative research and comprehensive patient care.
