Quick Facts Location: 4401 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77521 Start Date: 12/31/2025 End Date: 01/09/2026 Shift: 8 or 10-hour shifts (flexible schedule options) Hours/week: 40 hours/week Employment Type: Locum Tenens License/Certs: Active TX medical license preferred, DEA, BLS required Experience: Prior OB hospitalist experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $195.00 per hour Paid Weekly via Direct Deposit Comprehensive Medical Benefits (W-2) Robust Referral Bonus Program Licensure, Certification, Travel, and Reimbursements when applicable Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws What You’ll Do Manage obstetric inpatient care within a hospital setting Collaborate with nursing and other medical staff to provide quality care Handle labor and delivery cases as needed Monitor high-risk pregnancies and assist with postpartum care Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and documentation standards Participate in shift handoffs and patient rounds Provide support and guidance to patients and families What You Need Required: Active Texas medical license (highly preferred) BOARD-certified or BOARD-eligible in OB/GYN DEA license and BLS certification Prior OB hospitalist experience (preferred) Preferred: Knowledge of EPIC EMR system Ability to perform spinal blocks and regional anesthesia (not required but beneficial) About the Assignment This assignment is with a leading facility in Baytown, Texas, offering a busy, well-equipped environment with multiple ORs, cath labs, endoscopy, and radiology services.
