Quick Facts Location: Coos Bay, OR Start Date: ASAP End Date/Duration: Ongoing / Open-ended Shift: 8-hour days, 1:4 call (primarily critical lab calls) Hours/Week: 40+ hours for full-time / Part-time options available (48 hours per pay period) Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time License/Certs: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology, BLS, Malpractice background clear, NPDB self-query report required Experience: Recent fellowship graduates or experienced practitioners preferred Pay & Benefits Compensation: Total package around $680,000+ per year for full-time equivalent, based on experience Pay rate: Discussed upon application—typically competitive for Oregon oncology specialists Additional Benefits: Sign-on bonus (discussed during interview) Relocation assistance (if applicable, flexible) 6% employer match retirement plan Generous PTO and CME allowance Licensing and professional fees covered Onsite employee health and wellness clinic Onsite child care and learning center Comprehensive health benefits What You’ll Do: Provide outpatient cancer care working with a multidisciplinary team Collaborate with radiation oncology, infusion services, and specialty groups Participate in clinical trials and cutting-edge research projects Educate patients and support families through treatment plans Use state-of-the-art facilities, including a new 19-chair infusion room and onsite pharmacy Maintain excellent patient flow, typically 10-15 patients daily Engage in team-based care to support community health initiatives What You Need: Valid license or certification (Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology/Medical Oncology) Experience practicing in outpatient cancer care (new fellows considered) Strong interpersonal and clinical skills Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team About the Assignment: Join a leading facility in Coos Bay, Oregon, renowned for its excellent cancer center with modern amenities and a supportive work environment.
