\nWhat You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)\n
\nServe as a dedicated Field Automation Specialist, managing service calls, system start-ups, and client interactions across Wisconsin and Northern Illinois using a company-provided vehicle.\n
\nDesign and program custom control systems from scratch across various major PLC and HMI platforms (not limited to a single brand).\n
\nPerform on-site control troubleshooting and wiring for electrical panels, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), DC controllers, and automated safety devices.\n
\nInstall, commission, and retrofit automation machinery, including panel builds, light screens/scanners, safety controllers, and cobot/robotic integrations.\n
\nInterpret electrical schematics and blueprints to solve complex field challenges and ensure high system reliability and safety.\n
\nMaintain strong, direct client communications, serving as a helpful, professional technical partner to solve downtime issues efficiently.\n
\nWhat We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)\n
\n2+ years of practical industrial automation experience, including writing PLC programs from scratch and configuring HMI screens across multiple platforms.\n
\nStrong foundational expertise in electrical systems, panel wiring, VFDs, and reading/interpreting complex electrical schematics and drawings.\n
\nEducation & Experience Balance: Open to candidates without a degree if backed by solid hands-on experience, or candidates with an Associate Degree (A.S.) in Automated Systems / Controls / Mechatronics.\n
\nHigh autonomy and self-management, with the ability to handle dynamic service schedules and customer-facing interactions professionally.\n
\nLoyalty and commitment, demonstrating a reliable work history with minimal job-hopping.\n
\nProximity & Requirements: Must reside within a 45-minute drive of Johnson Creek/Jefferson, WI, possess a valid driver's license, and hold US Citizenship or a Green Card.\n
