Quick Facts Location: Covington, LA (900 Ochsner Boulevard) Start Date: ASAP End Date: Permanent placement Shift: Tuesday – Friday, 8-hour shifts Hours/Week: 32 hours/week Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent License/Certs: Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology/Oncology Experience: Prior experience preferred, but not required Pay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application Comprehensive benefits package (details to be provided during hiring process) What You’ll Do Provide expert diagnostic and treatment services for benign hematology and oncology patients Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the Ochsner Cancer Institute Manage patient care in a hospital or outpatient setting, including consultations and follow-ups Support clinical research initiatives and participate in educational activities Contribute to patient education and comfort during treatment Engage in a shared weekly call rotation with regional physicians What You Need Required: Medical license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach Preferred: Prior experience in benign hematology or oncology Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system About the Assignment Join a prominent cancer care center in Covington that offers comprehensive radiation, chemotherapy, and advanced imaging services.
