Quick Facts: Location: UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies, Loveland, CO Start Date: 07/21/2025 End Date: 10/20/2025 Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM, Overnight Trauma Coverage Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Full-time Licenses/Certifications: ANCC, BLS, Board Certified, DEA Experience: Minimum 2 years trauma/surgical experience or surgical fellowship preferred Pay & Benefits: Salary Range: $136,822 - $179,379 annually (based on experience) Additional Compensation: Up to $10,000/year through QVIP incentive and relocation bonus up to $10,000 (eligibility applies) Perks: Fully paid malpractice insurance, CME allowance ($3,500/year + 5 CME days), 403(b) retirement plan with employer match, comprehensive health/dental/vision/life insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, wellness benefits, educational assistance, PSLF eligibility Pay Package: $136,822 - $179,379/year, details discussed upon application What You’ll Do: Provide advanced overnight trauma and emergency surgical care in a Level II trauma environment Conduct patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostics, and develop treatment plans Manage inpatient trauma and emergency general surgery cases Support surgeons with procedures and ongoing patient management Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while working autonomously Document all patient care using Epic EMR Ensure compliance with hospital policies and standards Participate in mentorship, leadership development, and ongoing medical education What You Need: Active, unrestricted medical license in Colorado or eligible license from another state ANCC certification, Board Certification in relevant specialty, BLS, DEA required Minimum of 2 years trauma or surgical experience, or completion of a surgical fellowship preferred Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively Commitment to high-quality patient safety and care standards About the Assignment: This exciting opportunity at a top Colorado trauma center involves delivering overnight trauma and acute surgical care.
