Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, active SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience within school settings; familiarity with student caseloads across grade levels
- Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Role Specifics:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students in junior high and elementary school settings
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Collaborate with teaching staff, special education teams, and families to support student IEP goals
- Maintain timely and comprehensive documentation, progress notes, and reports
- Adapt therapy strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners, fostering skill development and confidence
- Potential to transition and cover a high school caseload as another leave begins in late September
- Work onsite, engaging directly with students and educational staff
