Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current, active SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience within school settings; familiarity with student caseloads across grade levels
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Role Specifics:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students in junior high and elementary school settings
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, special education teams, and families to support student IEP goals
  • Maintain timely and comprehensive documentation, progress notes, and reports
  • Adapt therapy strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners, fostering skill development and confidence
  • Potential to transition and cover a high school caseload as another leave begins in late September
