Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist serving students near Mt. Vernon, GA. With a focus on supporting middle and high school learners—and some elementary involvement—you’ll provide meaningful intervention to students with mild to moderate language and articulation delays. Collaborative work is at the heart of this role, as you’ll share your caseload with another on-site SLP, ensuring students benefit from continuous, high-quality services.

This role spans the entire school year, from August 24th through May 21st, offering a consistent, engaging environment. Your expertise will make a real difference, especially as you nurture communication skills and nurture student success across grade levels.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP-CCC credential (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
  • Previous school-based experience, particularly with middle and high school students
  • Comfortable managing mild to moderate language and articulation delay caseloads
  • Ability to work closely and collaboratively with another SLP on-site
  • Organized, communicative, and flexible in approach
  • Only SLPs with CCC; SLPA and CF applicants cannot be considered for this role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and provide direct therapy to students on your caseload
  • Collaborate with the on-site SLP for cohesive service delivery
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Consult with teachers and families to maximize student progress
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation
