Bechtel is designing and constructing a state-of-the-art active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas. The Project will support pharmaceutical production and demonstrates Bechtel’s ability to deliver complex industrial Projects safely, efficiently, and with a focus on innovation and quality.

Job Summary:

Project Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $35.50

Per Diem: $80 per days worked.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises and trains Surveyor Assistants.
\n
• Works outdoors in all weather conditions.
\n
• Work at elevation on structures. Collect survey data and perform layouts in accordance with Bechtel Surveying Procedures.
\n
• Marks points of measurement with elevation, station number, or other identifying mark.
\n
• Carries and sets stakes and clears brush from survey lines.
\n
• Stake and grade for excavation.
\n
• Operates survey instruments and obtains data pertaining to angles, elevations, points, and contours.
\n
• Compiles notes, sketches, and records of data obtained, and work performed.
\n
• Communicate with Field Engineers and Supervisors
\n
• Work under time constraints and be adaptable to changing conditions.
\n
• Assists in establishing horizontal and vertical control for the project.
\n
• Reviews design drawing for correct data and check calculations
\n
• Loads, transports and unloads materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
\n
• Performs minor maintenance or cleaning activities on tools and equipment.
\n
• Assists in lifting, positioning and securing materials and work pieces during installation.
\n
• Adheres to safety procedures.
\n
