Quick Facts Location: Dothan, AL Start Date: Immediate / ASAP End Date / Duration: Permanent / Ongoing Shift: ER shifts, typically 12-hour blocks (schedule varies) Hours/Week: Full-time Employment Type: Hospital-employed, full-time License/Certs: Active AL Medical License; ABEM or AOBEM certification/preparedness required Experience: EM residency trained, 1+ years preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $210/hour + night differential, bonuses, incentives Additional Compensation: Sign-on and retention bonuses, paid malpractice including tail coverage Benefits: Employer-funded retirement plan, CME allowances, professional dues, interview expenses covered Other Perks: Immediate weekly pay, flexible scheduling with block days off, full benefits package What You’ll Do Provide emergency care in a busy Level II trauma center with high acuity patients. Manage an average of 60,000 patient visits annually. Collaborate with mid-level providers in a fast-paced ED environment. Participate in trauma and stroke protocols as part of a comprehensive care team. Utilize advanced EMR systems and diverse clinical resources. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols. Engage in on-call rotations to support continuous trauma and emergency care. What You Need Required: Valid Alabama medical license or eligibility Certification in ABEM or AOBEM, or confident preparedness EM residency training 1+ years of emergency medicine experience preferred Preferred: Experience in high-volume, high-acuity settings Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills About the Assignment Join Southeast Health, a 420-bed community hospital serving over 600,000 residents, as part of Alabama’s top trauma and stroke centers.
