Financial ControllerWeldon, Northants (Office Based) £70,000 - 80,000 per annum + Bonus & Benefits Permanent, Full TimeThe Opportunity:An established and growing manufacturing services business is seeking an ambitious Financial Controller to play a key role within its senior leadership team.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified (or finalist) senior accountant who is looking for far more than a traditional finance role. Alongside taking ownership of the finance function, you will work closely with operational and commercial teams to improve business performance, enhance reporting, develop business systems and help drive strategic growth.The business is entering an exciting phase of development, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to influence change, improve processes and to potentially progress into the role of FD within the next 18 months to 2 years.The Role:Reporting directly to the Directors, you will take responsibility for the companys financial management whilst leading improvements across reporting, systems and operational processes.Key responsibilities include:Producing accurate monthly management accountsPreparing budgets, forecasts and cash flow projectionsMaintaining strong financial controls and balance sheet integritySupporting statutory reporting, audits and compliance requirementsProviding financial insight to support strategic business decisionsDeveloping financial KPIs and performance reportingLeading the ongoing development of ERP and finance systemsIdentifying opportunities to automate processes and improve efficiencyImproving reporting, data quality and business informationWorking closely with operational and commercial teams to drive continuous improvementSupporting investment decisions and business growth initiativesManaging relationships with software providers and external stakeholdersAbout You:Were looking for an ambitious finance professional who enjoys improving businesses as much as producing financial reports.
