Established in 1983, BRISTOL MISSING LINK (incorporating Next Link and Safe Link) is a leading provider of womens support services in Bristol.We have a rewarding opportunity available for a Female* Recovery Navigator to join the North Recovery and Assessment team in Bristol . You will join us on a part-time, permanent co ntract working 18.75 hours per week within a team that operates Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am to 5pm and may include some occasional work outside of these hours. This involves working alongside organisations within the Bristol Mental Health Partnership. This is a hub based in the north of Bristol and you will be working across a large geographical area; you therefore must be able to drive and have access to an appropriate vehicle. You will be based at the Greenway Centre which is where the North Assessment and Recovery Team is located.The role is focused on providing a range of interventions to assist with daily health, social care and wellbeing needs to promote recovery, build resilience and improve wellbeing. You will be employed by Missing Link and seconded into our Bristol Mental Health Partnership and will therefore be operationally managed by Avon and Wiltshire Partnership (AWP).Key duties and responsibilities of our Female* Recovery Navigator:Build trusting and collaborative relationship with service usersWork closely with carers, families, children and other services directly involved with service users, carers if appropriateCarry out the role adhering to Mental Health Bristol Partnerships policies, procedures, values, code of conduct and current legislation. Additionally, you must use a recovery orientated, psychologically informed, equalities-based approachCo-produce, update, implement and review a crisis plan, relapse prevention and other self-management toolsImplement the recovery plan and inform any reviews, working jointly with other community mental health professionals and in partnership with service users in line with best practiceCoordinate support, refer and liaise effectively with all professionals, agencies and other parties involved in service users supportEnable delivery of recovery plans and to enable service users to make informed decisions about their mental wellbeing, maximising their independence and providing advocacy role where appropriateProvide specialist support to men and women using the service; advise and guide other team members regarding womens mental health issuesPromote and facilitate service user involvement and inclusion within Mental Health Bristol and the community in line with Mental Health Bristol Partnership objectivesManage caseload, documentation and time effectively, ensuring up to date, clear and accurate record keeping in line with policies, making best use of supervision, training and developmentCollaborate with other team members to maximise service performance, meet targets and Service Level Agreements and promote effective communication and teamworkMaintain hope and optimism for the service users with high expectations for recovery. Use lived experience (if appropriate) to positively support the individuals recoveryThis is not an exhaustive list of your duties and outlines the general ways in which it is expected you will meet the overall requirements of this post .What we are looking for in our ideal Recovery Navigator:Experience working with people with mental health needs, or people with complex and multiple needs (for example, homelessness, alcohol/drug dependency, long term conditions, domestic abuse and sexual violence)Experience of support planning and managing risk assessmentsThe ability to maintain hope and optimism for the individual with high expectations for recoveryManage caseload, documentation and time effectively, ensuring up to date and clear record keeping in line with policies and proceduresA current, full driving licence and access to an appropriate vehicle is essentialHow to applyPleasedownload the application pack from our website and complete the application form.
