Remanufacturing Engineer - Automotive ElectronicsJob Type: PermanentLocation: CoventryPostcode: CV1 2GTSalary: £28,000 to £32,000Start Date: ASAPJob purpose - Remanufacturing Engineer - Automotive Electronics:Responsible for the remanufacture, diagnosis and testing of various types of automotive electrical motors and mechanical products such as Alternators, Fuel Pumps, Electric Motors, Generators, Starter Motors, Turbochargers, Hydraulic Systems and Pumps etc.Job Duties:Assess overall condition of product.Strip unit in accordance work instructions.Carry out electronic fault finding to component level.Evaluate commercial viability and availability of parts before commencing work.Assess individual components to ensure they are fit for purpose.Evaluate the commercial viability and availability of parts prior to the commencement of any work.Carry out necessary repair works to agreed standardsTest product to OE specification.Requirement/Experience/Competence/Qualifications - Remanufacturing Engineer - Automotive ElectronicsProven experience in automotive electronic fault finding to component level.Knowledge of PCB rework methods (soldering, reflow, and repair techniques).Ability to read and interpret electronic circuits and schematic drawings.Strong attention to detail with effective problem-solving skills.Familiarity with QHSE legislation and best practices.Competent in the use of MS Office applications (particularly Excel), or willingness to develop proficiency.The role will suit individuals currently working as a Remanufacturing Engineer - Automotive Electronics, Remanufacturing Technician, Workshop Technician, Electronic Bench Engineer, Motor Rewind Technician, Winder and be living within a commutable distance of Coventry, Birmingham, Rugby, Warwick, Nuneaton, West Midlands, Warwickshire or be willing to relocate.Please forward your CV by clicking Apply Now!TPBN1_UKTJ
